Schwartz & Von Halen, Fratelli Orsini and Leather Gloves Online are brands of Zwart & Troudes. Together they run a complex e-commerce operation across multiple countries, webshops, ad platforms and operational systems. We integrated all of it into a simple, reliable and efficient data infrastructure so they can focus on what matters: running the business.

The problem

Search "leather gloves" and you'll likely find them on the first spot. Schwartz & Von Halen is an unmistakable name in premium leather gloves online. But behind that visibility lies a complex operation: multiple brands, shops across different markets, and hundreds of ad campaigns across Google, Meta and Bing.

That means countless streams of data flowing through countless platforms — Shopify stores, ad dashboards, analytics tools. Keeping insights up to date across all of them was a constant challenge.

Questions like which products are low on stock, which campaigns actually perform, or where margins are improving — the answers were there, scattered across systems. Getting to them took time and manual work.

The solution

We started with ingestion: syncing data from all eight Shopify shops, Google Ads, Meta Ads and Bing Ads into a single BigQuery destination on a scheduled basis. Automatic, reliable, hands-off.

Raw data needs cleaning. We handled timezones, different currencies, returns and edge cases — turning messy source data into structured, trustworthy tables.

Then we sat down together to define the KPIs that matter. What do we want to know? What don't we know yet that we could? Those queries now run on a schedule too — results are always up to date without anyone having to think about it.

The result is a proper data warehouse. When questions come up — what product is low on stock, what performs best, where do margins improve — the answer is ready.
